Fewer collections, from the source.

Reduce dedicated food-waste collections at the source. Processing accepted food waste on-site can reduce bin storage, odour, collection frequency and haulage costs. The actual reduction depends on your waste profile, operating schedule and current collection contract.

The machine

The floor space of one cabinet.

An all-in-one composter that treats food waste right where it’s generated, turning a daily waste problem into a measurable environmental solution. Built for real kitchens, designed for everyday use, and engineered to make food-waste management simple.

  • All-in-oneNo post-treatment equipment. Everything the chosen machine takes goes in whole and is processed in one machine; harder material is prepared by a PREP unit first.
  • 12 to 24 hoursMost LIGHT and HARDSTOCK models run in 12–24 hours; MW15 runs in 24–48 hours.
  • Dry outputReady to use. No curing pile standing in the yard.
  • Odour controlBuilt-in filtration helps control odour.
  • No bulking agentNo sawdust or rice husk to buy and store.
  • Easy to operateSimple buttons. A kitchen crew can run it.

Inside the chamber is Speedozyme™, MAEKO’s own live culture. The machine does the work; the culture is what makes it possible. New machines carry a two-year warranty and are serviced by MAEKO’s own technicians.

The rule on the wall

No pre-sorting. No sawdust.

No pre-sorting of accepted food waste. Print it, tape it above the bin. Choose the list for your machine: LIGHT takes softer waste and small bones; HARDSTOCK also takes large bones and shells. Check ASK FIRST items with us, and always remove everything in the NEVER band.

What’s left

It comes out as dry compost.

Dry, odourless, ready to use. No curing pile, no sawdust, no rice husk. The colour depends on what went in: mixed food waste comes out darkest, garden waste lighter, high-carb food waste palest. Whatever the colour, it does the same job: it adds organic matter to soil and supports plant growth. MAEKO buys the compost back — from 200 kg a trip in the Klang Valley, and further out where a collection is already nearby. The price depends on quality and quantity, so ask before you count it as income.

Feed the garden Three shallow steel dishes of compost, left to right: dark and coarse from mixed food waste, mid-brown and crumbly from garden waste, pale and fine from high-carb food waste

Three feeds, three colours. Ready to use as it comes out.

The loop

It leaves the kitchen and comes back.

Treat food waste before it needs collecting. Food waste goes into the machine in the same building, comes out as dry compost in 12 to 24 hours, goes onto a farm or your own grounds, and what grows there comes back to the table — on site, or through our buy-back.

The range

Sized by the waste, not the building.

We choose the machine from how much waste you make, and how hard it is to break down. Waste volume and composition determine the model; site conditions determine the installation.
